The IMHC Pad Bank

Speak Up Sis, LLC is one of eight pioneering members of the International Menstrual Hygiene Coalition (IMHC). The IMHC is a platform which brings together global stakeholders concerned about promoting good menstrual hygiene management of less privileged and displaced girls and advocating for Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Day.

The coalition aims to empower women and girls to manage their periods in privacy, safety and with dignity through an integrated, multi-sector approach that consists of providing sanitary pads, comprehensive menstrual hygiene education and promoting the rights of displaced persons.

To further the mission of the IMHC, SpeakUpSis, LLC opened the first IMHC Pad Pantry at the SpeakUpSis Empowerment Center on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
